Lead me not into temptation I can find it quite well myself

So last night I went to Game Kastle for the Monday paint night. When I go I try to buy a little something even if I do not really need anything. They do not charge event or use fees and I feel that by picking something up I am sort of paying my way.
Anyhow I have been eying a World War 2 Rule Set called Disposable Heroes and Coffin for Seven Brothers. I noticed as I walked around last night that it was in stock so I finally picked it up. Little did I know that I would be coming home with so much more.
A friend of mine had a major closet cleaning and was looking to get rid of a bunch of stuff that he had to clear out. When he got there last night we unloaded the stuff from his Beamer and took it into the game room and spread it out all over the table. There was a lot of stuff there, everything from MBA buildings to rulesets to JTFM Vehicles.
I looked at the stuff and there were a few things that I wanted but I was in the same boat as him. The holidays are coming up and I am trying to clean and clear for them. I was not looking to get a lot of stuff but I thought that I would be able to help him out in getting rig of the rest of it for him. Little did I know that he had other plans, his plans involved him going home with empty bins for his wife to put stuff into.
So we started going back and forth on what there was and he was adamant about taking home nothing. He started with some gorgeously painted American and Germans. I looked at them and I told him definitely not on those as they would make my stuff look like crap if I put them on same table. So we agreed that those would not be part of the deal. But I did still not want to take it all. In addition to that there was a few things that I already had.
But he was insistent it all had to go and it had to go in my car. I called Dan in to maybe help out my be take some of the stuff but he looked and read the mood of the conversation and beat feet out of the place. Aron came in and hung out for a bit and added his two cents but he was safe he knew that he didn't have to worry he only does 15mm and this is all 28mm.
So there we were again with the back and forth and the who's and why fores. In the end the deal got to good and I was hungry. The car got stuffed to the gills with terrain books and figures. Now, I am trying to figure out where to put it all, what to keep and what to sell. And saying to myself what the hell what the hell did I do last night.
