It is Friday and the week is over, and I think I found a solution to my Kasrkin command problem. Been kind of searching here and there for different options. I think I found two of them I am going to work with.

First off, I found a Sergeant On eBay that looks kind of interesting and it was not hugely expensive but the only thing that's kind of a bummer about it is that shipping is going to take a while because it is coming from Russia I believe. But it gives a couple different options for heads and arms and other things so I think it will give me a couple different things I can do. Additionally, I think the extra bits can go towards other things that I am working on as well.

For the command squad I found a guy on Etsy that also is from Russia that had something that looks close to Kasrkin. The command squad that I got from him has got an officer, a medic, a radioman, a standard bearer, and two flame throwers. They are not exact matches for Kasrkin but they are pretty darn close.

With both, I am looking forward to seeing them in person. The thing I was wondering about this sort of stuff his why is it these people cannot get something painted and post a picture of it on their website or on their eBay listing. Also, you would think somebody at some time would have purchased one of these and posted a picture or two of them online someplace, but you know what I just cannot seem to find them. It is a little odd.

The other question that this brings up is with figures like these, they are obviously not manufactured by GW. That being the case I would have to presume that they are not going to be tournament legal. But on the other hand, when do I really think I will be playing in a tournament again.

With the 39 of them that I'm painting right now, I'm so close to being done I think I'll probably get them knocked out before the end of the weekend. After that I don't know if I'm going to move on to the commissar or save that until I get my new Russian figures in. In all honesty I probably should think about jumping back to my Time of Legends: Joan of Arc figures. But if we're going to talk about that stuff in the same sentence, we should also mention Death Guard, Rum and Bones, Dust, or even Robotech.

Honestly it doesn't really matter what as long as I just keep painting a little bit each day.
